normal person and on a DAY SHIFT from 0900-2100 and actually have to
wake up to an alarm clock, I feel like I am busy 24/7!
I do want to thank everyone for their recent letters and packages. I got
a huge box of golf balls to hit at the range! They offer golf clubs you
just have to bring your own balls...
A week a go I attended a TCN Party. TCN = Third Country Nationals. They
work at the chow hall, gym, bathrooms and landscaping. They host a free
party for all the Americans on base once a month. They have TONS of
food, desserts, pops, AND they even perform dances and skits. They treat
you, serve you and enjoy your company. They shake your hand and hug you.
You are so thankful that you are there. The funny part is that the
females are the only ones they give the invitations to, but they always
bring the males. Too Funny!!! Next time Krista and I will take photos!
I really don't have much new news. The party was a blast. Day shift is
amazing! The weather is cooling and I am working out twice a day. Cardio
in the mornings and lifting in the evenings.
Last Saturday Krista and I did a 5K on base. Tomorrow we are
participating in a 6k/6mile run. It's the Air Force 60th Anniversary
run. WAY COOL! We have about 7 people going with us....then tomorrow
night we have organized a small Texas Hold'm game. There are a lot of
people here who know how to play and a LOT MORE who don't. So is should
be interesting. Only 8 of us playing.
As of now I will be here until Nov. 5. There is still an option for me
to stay, but I wont know until closer to October.

fingers crossed that you'll be back for the holidays ... we'll be in VA this year for Christmas and New Years' so hopefully we can see each other then! miss you , take care!
